"Ghost In The Sheets" was written at a Terra Songwriting Retreat in summer of 2021. It was recorded with Jon "Guggy" Guggenheim in Cleveland, OH, with performances by Mark Kovalsky (Chronosonder) on guitar/707 bass synth, and Zach Tomsick (DiveBombs, The Skies Above Us) on drums/beats.

The song takes you through a series of triumphant self-realizing messages that we use to reflect and rebound into focus on the important things in life, in our soul and our relationships to others and ourselves.

The style of the song is a bit of redirection from where a lot of piano based songs that Mikey makes and is more reflective of the inner-world of a style-bending and evolving musician, lyricists and performer.
